Our commercial department recognizes that different clients have different needs. For this reason, they provide site visits, consultation, product recommendations, equipment set up and delivery which are just a few of the services they offer. Whether you require gym equipment for a university, hospital or fire station (a few examples of our customers) this department will allow for each client to receive the care and attention they need in order to obtain the products suitable specifically for them.

Thickness: Belt thickness makes a dramatic difference to treadmill performance. If a belt is just one-ply, it's probably prone to ripping or stretching. If a belt is two-ply or thicker, it can likely serve for many more miles before it needs to be recalibrated or replaced. The extra thickness can also help the treadmill operate quietly, making it better for home use.

A motorized treadmill is equipped with a motor that turns the treadmill belt, allowing you to walk or run at your own pace for as long as you want. You're not required to drive the machine through your movement, as is the case with manual treadmills, so there's less strain on joints and muscles which makes it easier to put in longer runs. Some motorized treadmills also allow you to amp up your workout by programming routines with variable speeds and simulated hill climbs.
Most Treadmills have adjustable rear leveling feet. Make sure that the running surface is level. If the treadmill is placed on a uneven surface, adjusting the rear feet can help, but may not completely compensate for extremely uneven surfaces. Treadmills that are not level can cause misalignment of the belt, uneven belt wear, and possible injuries for the user.
In 2010, a study of 9 males and 9 females were chosen to exercise at the same RPE on the treadmill or elliptical and found that energy expenditure and oxygen consumption were the same in the two forms of exercise equipment.[6] Thomas Altena, a professor of nutritional and exercise physiology at the University of Missouri-Columbia, measured oxygen retention, lactic acid build-up, heart rate, and perceived rate of exertion to compare treadmills and elliptical trainers,[7] finding that the "physiological responses associated with elliptical exercise were nearly identical to treadmill exercise".[7] However, it is important that the resistance set on the elliptical machine is at a relatively high setting, depending on the user.[8]

It’s a fact; runners need top shock absorption to protect the joints from the harsh impact of running. Each brand has their own shock absorption technology and features to help add to the comfort of the running deck, but of course some are better than others. The best treadmills we have chosen in this category are built for both comfort and performance, featuring advanced shock absorption technology and impressive speed and incline controls to simulate varying terrain, ideal for runners who are also training for a race or marathon.
